River Roast Chicago Wedding

A BEAUTIFUL Chicago summer wedding at River Roast! Holly and Gordon chose the gorgeous River Roast for their venue, right on the Riverwalk in downtown Chicago. They started the day getting ready in separate rooms at the same hotel with amazing Chicago views. Because they weren’t doing a first look moment, we did all the before ceremony wedding party shots in separate groups. Gordon would get the first glimpse of Holly as she came down the aisle! What a perfect ceremony- so full of all the feels and plenty of laughter. Then it was time for portraits with all those beautiful Chicago views and straight into cocktail hour and reception!!  The night was full of amazing speeches, laughter and tears! Everyone was having so much fun, all in front of this gorgeous backdrop as the night fell over the epic Chicago riverwalk! 

Holly and Gordon blew everyone away with their first dance, which started out as you would imagine, but then Holly drew on her lifetime of dance training and they turned it into an epically beautiful choreographed dance and really GOT DOWN!! Everyone loved it! They had an AMAZING DJ, Michael with Cage and Aquarium (seriously he is the best, go hire him now!!), who really kept the party hopping. We were able to sneak the newly married couple out for some stellar night shots on the Riverwalk, and then we all just grooved on the dance floor pretty much until we dropped!
