After that we headed downtown and did some photos in downtown Milwaukee. I loved all the vibes Milwaukee had and will have to come back for more shoots (and hopefully some weddings!) in the near future! Maybe it is just me, but the photos we took toward the end of the shoot right in the middle of the street are my favorites, and kinda remind me of a mini NYC!Read More

I love getting to shoot engagement sessions with my couples because it is really the first time I really get to know them!! As this was the first time Crystal and Joe met me in person, we had tons to talk about! I was so excited that they were down to lay on the floor and dance around in the open spaces. It let me know how much fun their wedding is going to be!Read More
Tatom and Nick picked some of the absolute coolest locations for their engagement shoot! They were real troopers too, because it was literally 90+ degrees and they were both inside a greenhouse (which was even more hot and humid) and outside in the heat, lovin’ on each other.Read More
Maddie and Neal found me through a family friend, and I was so excited to get to document their wedding day back home in Minnesota. I flew out for 48 hours for their engagement shoot and we had a blast exploring the Stone Arch Bridge and dancing in the streets to no music.Read More
Jacquie and Anthony are getting married on the east coast, but wanted to do some photos in their home city so they could document their love of each other & the city they live in, Chicago! They already knew what they wanted for their photos, something around the Wicker Park neighborhood including the 606. One of my favorite cafes to meet clients at, Ipsento 606 is also an amazing location for photos, sandwiched right between Wicker Park & Bucktown. The outside of the cafe is covered in a super awesome mural and there is a sweet path in the little dog park that leads right up to the 606. We even got the blue line in the background!
We spent hours roaming around Morton Arboretum. I showed them all my favorite spots. We even made friends with an old man who was nice enough to lend us his bug spray (there may or may not be a few mosquito bites edited out of this session)!Read More
For Chris and Erin’s engagement session, they wanted to do something a little more personal, something that really felt like them. We went out to the campsite in Zion, IL (Illinois Beach State Park) which happened to be where Chris had proposed.Read More
