Ovation Wedding in Chicago West Loop

So excited to share this gorgeous Chicago Ovation wedding! Starting with getting ready in the morning, I love getting to mix it up a bit when someone decides to get wedding- day-ready in their own home or at a cool Airbnb. The Airbnb Chinye chose was seriously picture perfect (so stoked about those bridal portraits we got with the brick wall!!). Something to think about when planning your wedding is. Where am I getting ready, and on top of that, how will it look in photos?! Also, does the location have good natural light, will it be a good background for portraits?

Chinye and Brian were actually already married which made the wedding extra fun! They had tied the knot at city hall the year before. But they hadn’t yet had a party to celebrate with friends and family, so this day let them really relive their whole wedding day, with all of the fun and none of the nerves!! So not only did they have a reception, but they did the full-on ceremony again, which of course I LOVE to photograph!

Ovation is one of my favorite wedding venues in Chicago. Located in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood, Ovation is chic and spacious with an unbeatable view. More than just a wedding venue, Ovation is a blank canvas for weddings, celebrations, private dining, or events. From the moment you step in everything at Ovation seamlessly blends with upscale design elements and minimal branding. It’s such a fun and trendy place to have your Chicago wedding!! From the gorgeous light that floods the ceremony space, the photo booth, to getting to drive around and take photos in the West Loop in the white, vintage Rolls Royce, you have to admit, it’s pretty hard to beat! On top of that, the decor of the ceremony and the reception with lovely tulips and other florals really made the space such a dream!!
