Hanna's work is like no other photographer I've ever seen. Hanna has a singular command of light and timing that makes even the most minor moments look momentous. She has an eye for location and posing that is uniquely hers. She is truly an artist. Hanna & her team are technically skilled AND creative, and those skills pair with her editing to make magic. We spent a ton of time focusing on curating a very specific vibe/energy for our non-traditional, colorful wedding; Hanna was a key piece to making it all come together. We wanted to look and feel COOL. Hanna makes even the biggest dorks (us) look cool AF. The challenge was that we ALSO wanted some classic romantic vibes with epic locations: soft lighting, elegant posing, timeless images. Hanna delivered it all. While most photographers do one or two things well, Hanna does artsy, chic, timeless, posed and candid ALL perfectly, with attention and enthusiasm. In addition to her AMAZING work, Hanna cares soooo much about the client experience. We were married in Montana, Hanna arrived early, spent many hours finding the perfect locations to fit our MANY requests. Hanna made our location dreams come true. I am a plus sized queer woman with curly hair and tattoos; I've never felt delicate or "bridal," and I'm not comfortable or enthusiastic about being photographed. Hanna was so encouraging and patient, and I knew I could fully trust her to work around my insecurities, while making the things I love about myself shine. A truly amazing photographer shows you how they see you, and I'm honored to be seen so beautifully by Hanna. She made us look and feel SO comfortable, and I know our wedding weekend wouldn't have been as special as it was without her. Hanna and Jake approached our wedding with fun, kindness and warmth. Hanna and Jake are a perfect team in life AND on a wedding day. I can never thank Hanna (+ Jake) enough for the experience and photo gallery of a lifetime. Hanna shot our wedding day in digital and in film; her editing style masterfully and seamlessly marries the 2 mediums together. She exceeded our already high expectations and gave us ART that belongs in a museum. While the artsy, abstract photos are my personal favorite, our family and friends cannot stop raving about the candid images she and her team got throughout the day. As the bride and groom, you will be pulled in a million different directions on the big day and will inevitably miss a lot of small moments with your guests. However, having these photos to look back on makes us feel like we didn’t miss anything. Our wedding gallery is nothing short of a time travel machine that takes us back to our favorite day with our favorite people. Now, onto what it’s like to work with Hanna. Let’s put it this way: I’d trust Hanna with my life. Hanna became my de-facto timekeeper on our wedding day. She kept me and my rowdy friends on time without making it feel like we were on a schedule. In fact, Hanna kept the vibes going even when she’s working hard behind the camera.
