This is your guide to creating a day that you love
YOU’RE HERE FOR...
It all comes together with an expert blend of technical expertise, artistic flair and my dedication to getting to know you and exactly what you envision for your wedding day.
01
You don’t just want to remember how it looked. You want to hold these images in your hands and recall every taste, scent, sound & feel. I capture all that with a blend of emotional candids, editorial + romantic portraits and artistic details.
02
Just like you’re not interested in a wedding that gets boxed in by expectations, I’m never interested in making your experience just like everyone else’s. You can expect completely custom photography, from beginning to end.
03
Our relationship matters, because truly getting to know you helps me create the art you love. You’re inviting me in to document one of the biggest days of your life, which is a huge honor! I am always kind, inclusive, respectful and just plain happy to be with you.
THOUGHTS ON OUR EXPERIENCE
Here’s the thing, your wedding is never about me.
I’m a pro at reading the room to match your energy and noticing when you need a second to yourself. You can count on me to genuinely hype you up when you need it and step back and simply observe with my camera when you don’t. I’ll give you natural direction that never feels forced, and don’t worry — I’ll tell you where to put your hands. And I’ll chat with your grandparents while I’m at it, because they’re super cute together.
Almost every couple I work with gets nervous about being in front of the camera, which is totally normal! You can trust me to read your energy and know exactly what you need to feel comfortable. Anytime you’re in front of my camera, you can also expect me to…

— Grab all the shots you want and then some
— Command a room without making it weird (I’m from the Midwest, being polite is in my blood)
— Be there from rehearsal dinner to the after party and beyond
— Scout all the perfect locations for killer portraits
— Celebrate you, listen to you, support you and always respect you (wow, these sound like vows, don’t they?)
Creatively telling your story is the best part of my job, so I do that by digging into my pro skill. I use both digital and film, true-to-life imagery and a lot of added black-and-whites. Natural light is amazing, but I also love to get artistic with direct light and flash. I seriously get so excited to work with different lighting to create dramatic, moody and romantic images. All these pieces come together to cohesively document your wedding through interesting angles, inspired moments, and attention to detail.

There’s a nostalgia to it that you can feel in the texture, the color. There’s something so intimate about film and the ways it captures a moment in all its perfectly real imperfections. But what I really love about offering film to my clients is that it makes us slow down. Film takes time and reminds us to take a breath and really notice what makes the moment come alive with meaning. Film is always an optional add-on for every package, including elopements and engagement sessions. Want to know more? Let’s talk about it.
Editorial means those posed, artistic shots you could see in Vogue (but you’ll get to hang them in your house because you’re cool like that).
Documentary are those real life moments that fill your day — your unique take on a first look, the ceremony, the dance floor, along with the small details you might not notice. In short, these are the candids that tell your story.
I use editorial and documentary photography to create a comprehensive and curated gallery of portraits that don’t sit still and candids that become art. Every wedding blends a combination of both to capture the entire day — the show-stopping moments, the stylish + romantic poses and the emotional moments in between.
