Downtown Chicago Winter Engagement

Torie and Alex chose to do their engagement session in downtown Chicago for a winter engagement session. We started out at the Wrigley Building, which is probably my very favorite location for shoots in Chicago! It’s just a magical spot where the lighting is literally perfect, ALL day, EVERY day. I don’t know why, but it is just crazy beautiful! There are so many cool views there, like majestic golden doors and a gorgeous classic archway.

We got sooooo lucky with an empty city, maybe because it was the middle of winter?! 

Next we walked across the river, capturing great shots on the famous Chicago Riverwalk. We moved on to LaSalle Bridge, another fav spot.

Finally, we jumped in the car to North Ave. Beach, where they changed into some more casual clothes and cuddled up to each other, since it was literally like 10° out! You can’t tell from the photos, can you? They were such troopers and we got so many cute shots! 

We ended the session with them snuggled together in a blanket as the city lit up for the evening. Ahhhh perfection!
