Sunrise Chicago Engagement Photography

I always know I have the best clients when they say YES to doing a weekday sunrise session!  So let’s show you the Sunrise Chicago Engagement Photography blog!!

Why are we crazy enough to get up at 5 AM in the middle of summer on a Monday morning… (okay I am a little late writing this blog, so I am not exactly sure what day of the week it was, but let’s just say…) for a shoot??  Because living in a huge city like Chicago, the city is still asleep and we are able to get the prime shots!! Even in the summer, on a gorgeous 90-degree morning ALL TO OURSELVES!!  On top of that, the sun and the light look absolutely beautiful right at sunrise.  

We started their engagement session at the awesome North Ave Beach for the amazing city views..  After hanging out and running around on the beach for a little bit, we grabbed an Uber and did one of my fav things…  Took engagement photos on the El (the Chicago Subway System)!  We headed to the Brown Line, my favorite train in Chicago (above ground, so good light for photos!!), and took the cutest pics ever, both on the train and at the stop waiting for a train to come!  Karly and Will were naturals, letting me shoot pics of them cuddling on the train while the earliest risers headed to their destinations. 

We took the train downtown and got off by the riverwalk at JUST the perfect time!!! We got some gorgeous golden hour light and to get some shots on the bridge before the traffic built up downtown.  I am SO excited about their wedding!!  Love this blog?  Check out another Chicago Engagement Session!
