North Ave Beach Engagement

North Ave Beach Engagement Session – Olivia and Joe chose one of my favorite places for sessions in Chicago, North Avenue Beach!!  Not only is it awesome to get some photos on the lakefront, this skyline view at sunset literally cannot be beat!!  I just love how just as the sun starts to set, the lights from all the buildings in the city come out, and the pier to the lake starts to clear of bikers and walkers and we magically get the whole place to ourselves!!  Overall, this location has sooo much to offer as a photo session spot! From skyline views, to walking out to the end of the pier for lake views as far as we can see, to walking along the sand on the beach and cuddling up on a blanket.  And even to walking the lakefront path!

Also, I have to mention how much I loved Olivia’s dress… I actually loved it so much I went and bought it for myself.  No occasion to wear it just yet but it is a perfect dress for an engagement session OR even to wear as a wedding guest!!  Plus I thought the black with the skyline and the lake were a perfect compliment to each other.
