Michigan Backyard Wedding in Grand Beach

Molly and Kevin had an amazing backyard wedding day at their family vacation home on the beach at Grand Beach.   It was absolutely lovely!  From getting ready in the house Molly spent so much time in growing up, to getting married in the yard with so many memories, it was truly a beautiful day.  Even though it rained and rained the whole morning, and even during the ceremony, Molly and Kevin never stopped smiling!!

I was amazing that just a short drive from the house there was a beautiful field for portraits, and the rain stopped just for their first look and for a few quick photos of the two of them together.  But rain or not, we were definitely doing photos at their favorite spot with the Grand Beach sign. So we got some clear umbrellas and drove up to the sign, and they did it with their umbrellas!! Which honestly always looks so romantic anyway!

Back at the ceremony and reception space, the guest started to arrive just as the rain was clearing up.  It was a truly beautiful backyard wedding and I need ALL the backyard weddings in my future!!
