Colorful Lincoln Park Wedding – Chicago Wedding Photographer

Lincoln Park Wedding – Salvatores. When Michelle and Alice first got in touch with me about photographing their wedding I was beyond excited. I was also photographing their friend Nikki’s wedding, and was really enjoying working with her and her partner, and how cool they were. So I was so excited to work with their friend!!! An amazing part of being a wedding photographer is getting referrals from amazing clients and knowing that their friends or family are going to be just as cool!!

Lincoln Park Wedding Photos

Michelle and Alice got married in Chicago and got ready at one of my favorite hotels, Renaissance Chicago Downtown Hotel. I love this hotel because of the large room size and neutral decorations, which makes it a perfect background for all the wedding photos. I spent some extra time in the morning photographing their details—dress, shoes, etc because they had all the cutest props to work with!! After that I jumped between both of their rooms with my second photographer to grab all the sweet candid moments.

They really wanted a private first look, so we opted for a quiet hotel hallway. Their reactions as they both turned around at the same time to see each other were everything!! After we took a few portraits in downtown Chicago, we headed to Lincoln Park for all the epic greenery and wildflowers! Plus you have to stop in Lincoln Park if you are having a Lincoln Park wedding!!

Finally we got to their venue, Salvatores, where we met their guests and had an amazing ceremony and reception. The decorations were amazing, thanks to their epic style, PLUS of course, their planner Rachael. I absolutely loved being a part of Michelle and Alice’s day!! Thank you two for giving me such an amazing honor.
