Friday: A Sunrise Swim & Dinner Under the Stars

The honeymoon starts as soon as you step off the plane! As you settle into the flow of your wedding week(end), you can look forward to a morning beach couples photoshoot at Cala di Puolo Swim Club. Greet the sun with the love of your life. Then, let the gentle waves and soft sand set the stage for your romantic narrative. The golden morning light paints a stunning picture, illuminating the chemistry between you and your partner. The rocky shoreline along the Amalfi Coast is so dramatic and captivating that I want to hop on the next flight for another one. (Wink, wink.)

As the day mellows into evening, it’s time for the rehearsal dinner. Get ready for an evening in Positano, echoing with laughter and clinking glasses. Nothing beats the aroma of Italian cuisine, rich with the flavors of the Mediterranean. Enjoy drinks and conversation under a canopy of twinkling fairy lights. Positano knows how to create an intimate and cozy atmosphere that encapsulates the essence of Italian hospitality. 

My favorite nighttime views by far (as I’m sure will be yours) are the boats that fill the Gulf of Salerno. From there, you can see the twinkling fishing villages along the shoreline. It’s not home for me, but it sure feels like it!

Saturday: The Day of Love & Laughter

On the wedding day, go ahead and sleep in. Indulge in the luxury of a lazy morning to the sound of distant waves. With no rush, take your time to prepare for the day, savoring the magic of it all. Get breakfast together on the terrace of your Italian villa and soak in the breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast.

As you get ready, fill the hours leading up to the ceremony with eager excitement and reflective moments. Getting dressed up, adding the final touches of makeup, adjusting your veil, and tightening the tie all cause a crescendo of emotions that set the tone for your first look and intimate ceremony.

Then, it’s time for the main event! Your ceremony will be a heart-stopping blend of tears, laughter, and promises made beneath the endless Italian sky. After the whirlwind of emotions and events, wake up to a leisurely Sunday at your Italian villa Airbnb. Savor a slow morning, enjoy a hearty Italian breakfast, and take in the panoramic views of the coast.
