When deciding where to place the aisle and ceremony arch, consider the time of day and angle of the sun. If you can’t avoid bright sunlight (like at the beach), position the alter so that the sun is behind you to avoid squinting—you don’t want the sun in your eyes when you exchange vows! Plus, having the sun behind you will prevent harsh shadows and create a beautiful beachy glow instead.
