Downtown Chicago Riverwalk Engagement Session

We started Jocelyn and David’s engagement session on the North side of Chicago with some beautiful lush nature shots. It’s fun to showcase Chicago’s versatility!! One minute you can be surrounded by all the beautiful greens of nature and a few minutes later in a full-on urban landscape. Trust me, I am addicted to scouting locations and have a lot of great ideas in my bag of tricks!  But of course…. We have to get to the title, as our SECOND location was downtown Chicago where they had a gorgeous riverwalk engagement session.

Then they switched from their casual outfits into something a little more dressy and we headed downtown to the Riverwalk. Now, because of Covid, the majority of the Riverwalk was closed down, but hey! I’ve got your back! I found this little secret, hidden section of the Riverwalk that was open and BEAUTIFUL!! We got there right at golden hour when this amazing light was pouring between buildings and making the whole city, as well David and Jocelyn, look as if they were etched in gold. From this location there were views of Kinzie Bridge, and can I just say, wow! How about that ivy wall?? That kind of background is always a favorite of mine! We just hung out in the city and explored and Jocelyn and David were just so easy going and flexible with all my ideas.
