Chicago Maternity Session at Home

I will never stop gushing about how much I love doing in-home sessions! There is something so personal and REAL about capturing you at home, just being yourself. So naturally I was THRILLED when Jen and Vinh contacted me to do a Chicago maternity session at home!

What made it extra special was that they were one of my first Chicago weddings, way back in 2014, with their amazing wedding at The Metropolitan Chicago in the Sears Tower. We had had such a blast on their wedding day that I was really excited to see them again! 

And just look at this beautiful kitchen!! We had actually shot part of their wedding day at their home, and it was AMAZING to see it again and see all the remodeling and redecorating they had done! Their kitchen was completely re-done!

Jen was absolutely beautiful and glowing pregnant, we did lots of cute, cuddly family shots and then of course some solo portraits of mom-to-be. It’s just such a special, important time that you want to be sure to capture and remember. They had an outfit change and their outfits were so perfect! We went outside for some neighborhood shots, the sunshine was gorgeous and ended with this classic shot in front of their home. I SO love getting to see my clients again as they start to build a family and love having a chance to catch up! Thank you for having me and so excited for you to welcome your new little one!
