In-home Engagement Session in Wicker Park, Chicago – I have actually known Sam and Brandon for FOREVER!! I actually have been taking photos of Sam since we were sophomores in college. I met her online one day and I asked if I could take her photo and the rest was history!

Sam and I became really good friends and as Sam and Brandon have been dating, we have done a few sessions together. We actually shot another in-home engagement session back in their old apartment. However, since they have moved they wanted something a bit more updated.

Currently, Sam and Brandon’s new apartment is in Wicker Park, Chicago. The lighting in their new apartment is absolutely INSANE. They have windows surrounding the entire space which allowed us to get some insanely beautiful couples photos! In other words, I’m kind of jealous of their apartment folks, it was everything!! I got there and we immediately started taking photos of them along with their incredibly adorable pup. All three of them were cuddling up together on the couch and it truly was such a fun time.

Next, we shot all throughout their apartment in different locations and they even had changed their outfits to something more chill and comfortable. In-home engagement sessions are actually some of my favorite. It really lets your personalities shine through and make everything super unique to you and your partner!

I had such an amazing time being able to shoot with Sam and Brandon. Being there to shoot their in-home session in their new apartment along with their pup made the experience all the more enjoyable and fun.
