Sunflower Field Session in Wisconsin

I literally saw an ad for this sunflower field pop up on my Facebook feed.  A sunflower field you could take photos of and in, for free, the whole week the flowers were in bloom (sunflowers, at least in the Midwest, only bloom for about a week!!)  A dream come true!  So let’s dive into this sunflower field session in Wisconsin!

It was about 2 hours away and I only had one free day that week, but I posted a Facebook status as a model call, seeing if any couples would be up for driving out there with me for some EPIC shots!  AJ, a friend and fellow wedding photographer, jumped at the chance and we threw our plans together!

Let’s  just say AJ and Zach were troopers and I have no idea how they could look so good in 90+ degree heat—was SO hot and sunny, in the middle of a field—and they seriously look perfect and without a care in the world but each other!  

It was so fun to mix it up, doing these shots in a big flower field, something I had always wanted to do but never had the chance to before.
