Downtown Chicago Wedding – Chicago Wedding Photos. I remember when I first chatted to Ellen and Ethan thinking that they had the coolest ideas and I SO hoped I booked them. And guess what?  I did!  And it was perfect!  From their downtown Chicago wedding at the super cool venue The Builders BLDG, to all their epic portrait locations, I loved it all!!

But let’s take a step back here. First off, we need to mention Ellen’s epic dress that she bought for only ONE HUNDRED dollars!! Yes, you heard right.  She found her wedding dress for only $100 at a sample sale. Seems too good to be true, but honestly, it happens, so keep your eyes out!!  We got the gals ready as Jake, my second photographer, was hanging with the boys!  Being that Ellen and Ethan live in Pilsen, it was only right that we started at Simones, an awesome bar in their area.  They did their first look in front of the mural and then headed inside for all the wedding party to have a few drinks. Talk about a fun wedding to be in!!

Next, we headed to downtown and did some wedding portraits around the epic downtown Chicago locations..I mean, what is a downtown Chicago wedding without some iconic Chicago wedding photos, right?

We got to the venue where they did the damn thing and got married!!  They were super cute and more than a few happy tears were shed. Finally, everyone ate dinner and after the first dances we said goodbye, with a promise to meet for drinks on patios together soon.
