Chicago Theatre Engagement Session

Kelly and Danny had a one hour engagement session so we picked a place with lots of great locations close together! So, as the title says, a Chicago Theatre Engagement session!! 

We started off at the Chicago Theatre for their engagement session. The Chicago Theatre is an iconic Chicago landmarks, and such a cool place to shoot! I mean the huge red sign that says Chicago behind you in photos is pretty dang cool! Since it was during Covid, we even had bare, empty streets! It is really so strange to be able to shoot in Chicago in broad daylight and not have to fight crowds or traffic. One of the unexpected fringe benefits that came with Covid!

From there it is just a short 2 block walk to the cool bridges that go over the Chicago river, just down the same street. We took some fun bridge portraits and then, just another short walk to the Wrigley Building, which can I mention AGAIN is one of my absolute favorite downtown shooting locations! It is beautiful wherever you look and for some unknown magical reason, always has the most perfect lighting. They had their cute pup join us and he was so photogenic! We finished with a champagne pop!
