Intimate Chicago Elopement – Chicago Wedding Photographer

Chicago Wedding Photographer – Intimate Chicago Elopement. Back in September I was able to capture the most epic and intimate elopement between Danielle & Sean and it couldn’t have gotten any more PERFECT! Their venue was so bright and open, beautifully decorated and were surrounded by close family and it was the best!

Although Danielle & Sean got married on their original wedding date, due to the pandemic they were only able to have immediate family attend this ceremony. They rented out this beautiful space at DL Loft in Downtown Chicago for their intimate wedding ceremony. Danielle and Sean decided to opt out of having a first look so that left all the surprises to happen at the actual ceremony! For intimate weddings, this can be such an easy thing to incorporate in order to have more surprise and intimacy on your special day.

It was a beautiful sunny day in Chicago and Danielle and Sean had their wedding ceremony outside on the roof in front of mirrors, how cool right??? Danielle was wearing a dress that she bought online kind of on a whim, and it fit her PERFECTLY!! She plans to save her original wedding dress for round two!!

Their ceremony was fairly quick but thanks to their officiant, Reverend Dave, he was such a blast and told the story of their love so amazingly and made the ceremony filled with so many laughs and made it such a fun time. He even had them kiss multiple times so that we could get the most EPIC shot. Best officiant ever am I right??? As they walked out of their ceremony they were screaming and yelling “yeah, we’re married!”, which also happened to be some of their favorite shots I took.

Post Ceremony

After the ceremony was over, everyone gathered in a circle with glasses of champagne in their hands as they made a toast to the newlywed couple. Next were family portraits inside the venue and then Danielle, Sean and I headed out to the street to take some epic photos. How cool is it that covid couples are able to have two weddings??? After that we all made it back inside to eat some amazing food from Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!, which is a really good restaurant to get tapas here in Chicago. Danielle and Sean ended their special day with their first dance and it was just so lovely. Everyone had such a fun time being able to celebrate Danielle and Sean.
