Los Angeles Studio Session – Southern California. Alyssa and Alyssia had come into my studio, Loft 505. I had just got this new space and was so excited to play around with this space. They were also so much fun to work with. Since we had so much fun during their elopement I asked them if they would come in and model for me and they said yes!!

They brought in the coolest outfits and we seriously had so much fun moving around the space. We were doing different poses like sitting, standing, holding each other and they just absolutely killed it. I also loved the fact that they brought matching ripped jeans and white t-shirts. There were moments where I felt like I was shooting a Gap ad, but only in the very best way possible! I definitely want to bring all of my couples here to do the studio at some point. I think it is such a fun alternative to engagement photos. You are able to do something more unique and different rather than taking photos in the usual field or pretty skyline (although, those are nice don’t get me wrong).

It was so obvious throughout this engagement session how much they care and love for each other. Their movements, the way they look at each other truly does show the amount of love that they have for each other and it was just perfect! I loved this studio session because we had so much fun playing with all the different surfaces. We even got to experiment with my rolling wall. It’s this blue marbled pattern that kind of looks like you’re taking high school portraits, but it was PERFECT!!

Finally, they dressed up a little bit more and we did some moody shots. I had them stand by the window and sit in this epic yellow chair that I have. We were playing around with all the different light in the studio and overall the photos turned out SO well!

Loft 505 Studio

All in all, I absolutely love having couples in the studio. If I could convince all of my couples to have an engagement session in the studio, I totally would. It has such fun and different vibes and is perfect for something more unique. Loft 505 is rentable to other photographers, so if anyone is ever interested in renting out the space click here! It was such a blast being able to shoot for Alyssa and Alyssia and I am BEYOND excited to shoot their full wedding in July!
