Midwest Elopement Photography

Midwest Elopement Photography – Liz and Hector decided to get married at a small forest preserve in Wisconsin.  First, I started in the morning with them both getting ready together with their family at the cutest little (ok not little) airbnb that was literally a photographer’s dream!!  From the huge windows, large yard, deck, and beautiful decor, I was having the time of my life photographing there. I felt like I could have spent all day in the Airbnb! Talk about an amazing thing to come back to after your elopement.  I got to capture so many special elopement moments, from them chilling on the couch together, walking down the spiral staircase, petting the pup, even Hector’s dad practicing the ceremony all morning!!  

Heading to the elopement space I was so excited to see it in person.  I mean how often do we get to shoot at old abandoned buildings in the middle of the forest!? It is amazing and it is just a little short drive from Chicago!!  If you want to elope in the Midwest, trust me, there are amazing locations like this one to do it!  The whole time we were there the park was completely empty and it truly was perfect.

After an amazing ceremony and a short portrait session and finally, a lil bike ride, I packed up my gear and said goodbye to them.  Thanks forever to Hector and Liz for showing me this amazing Midwest elopement photography location.  I will be back again!!
