Minneapolis Engagement Session

I love being able to go back to Minnesota (born and raised!) for sessions & weddings!! I was extra excited for this Minneapolis engagement session because I have actually known Jake since I was 15 years old!!! His sister Kenzie was one of my very best friends, and I’m thankful we have still kept in contact via Instagram. I was super thrilled that when Jake got engaged, he reached out to me!!

Jake and Sarah spent a lot of their relationship at Finnegans Brew Co. in Minneapolis, so they thought it was only fitting to start their engagement session there!! I love doing engagement sessions at places that hold special meaning in your relationship!! We grabbed a beer and caught up, and then we headed out to a parking garage to do some photos with the Minneapolis cityscape— a view that never disappoints. Next, we all jumped into the car and headed to one of the best locations in Minnesota—The Stone Arch Bridge & St. Anthony Main. If there was ever a place just meant for engagement and wedding photos, this is it!! From the gorgeous skyline to cobblestone sidewalks, to charming old theaters and cute restaurants; this area has it all!! It was alive and full of color, even during the winter! Jake and Sarah, it was so fun to come to Minneapolis for your engagement session! I cannot wait to be back in May for your wedding!
