Wrigley Building Engagement Session – Chicago Engagement Photographer. A few months ago, Steph & Ashlee originally contacted me to shoot their wedding. Due to the craziness of the pandemic though, they had a switch of plans. They then decided to have a short engagement session and figure out the whole getting married thing later!

Wrigley Building

We had their engagement session at the Wrigley Building and although beautiful, it was probably the most windy day ever! Even though the wind was not on our side, we definitely made it work. The Wrigley Building is always a beautiful location to shoot at and it’s one of my favorites. With the beautiful golden doors, the view of the Chicago buildings in the back and also just the couple looking at each other – everything always look so amazing.

Sure it was windy and cloudy, but never fret if your wedding day or session is on a cloudy day. You are able to get the perfect lighting on cloudy days and really get some amazing photos. Just look at how cool the photos look with the Chicago city view in the background and all of the lights on inside the buildings! I think that’s such a cool part about doing cloudy day shoots. You should never feel discouraged if your shoot day lands on one.

Michigan Ave Bridge

Afters some photos at the Wrigley Building, we headed over to the Michigan Ave Bridge. Since it was the middle of winter in Chicago, the streets were pretty much empty. This was perfect because we really got to do more experimenting than usual! We took some photos at the bridge and in the back you could see the view of the Wrigley Building, which was super beautiful. Wrigley Building is such a cool location to take photos at because it can really be diverse. You’re able to use several different locations at the Wrigley Building for photos and honestly I could write a novel about how perfect it is.

It was so much fun to do this fun engagement session at the Wrigley Building with Steph & Ashlee and I can’t wait for them to get married!
